Abstract

In this, the sixth in a series of articles on practice-related aspects of pharmacology, drug therapy, and applied nursing pharmacology, we will examine novel advances in drug therapy, with specific reference to biotechnology drugs and monoclonal antibodies. This series uses permitted excerpts and diagrams from the second edition of Pharmacology in clinical practice: application made easy for nurses and allied health professionals, published by Juta and Company.
