Scar Management
Abstract
Scar formation is a normal bodily reaction to any injury or open wound. A scar can develop due to a variety of injuries such as burns, deep lacerations or surgery. Chronic ulcerations can also lead to extensive scarring if the wounds are not managed well. Scar formation can continue for a period of time even after wound closure is achieved.
