Abstract
Entrepreneurship, and particularly the nurse entrepreneur, faces many challenges in establishing and growing a healthy business. Two particular trends which come to mind relate to the difficulty in obtaining funding for start-up, and sustaining oneself during the development phase. What we often neglect to take into account is the funding requirements once a practice has been established, or the financial implications in the event of an adverse event. This article will focus on the practice which is up and running, once the initial start up has been achieved.
