Abstract
We are very privileged to be able to live and dream in a country in which democracy is actually practiced. Every South African citizen had the choice of whether or not to take part in the recent local government elections. If you chose to vote, there was a list of candidates from which to choose. Political parties used the opportunity to inform us of their political views for the future and their plans on implementation. But can we trust them to do what they say?
